Eric Simental

Hi! my name is Eric Simental, I’m in the Tetrad graduate program, and joint with the lab of Barbara Panning. My thesis work revolves around how heterochromatin domains are maintained and propagated in development and other, aberrant contexts. I got my start at the University of Arizona using cell biology to control a plant pathogen, and also spent a bit of time on the east coast trying to figure out how planarian flatworms regenerate. Outside of science I enjoy making various arts, hanging out with my cat, and catching some sun. See you around!
